Dirty Money
Money is one of the most transferred thing on the planet and because of that, one of the dirtiest. Many sicknesses are transmitted through the handling of money. For example, Carolyn is sick with the flu and she gives Kathy money to buy her mother a present for her birthday. Kathy goes to Wal-mart and buys the present and gives the money that sick Carolyn touched to the cashier. Jesse goes in because he is not sick and buys a DVD and the cashier gives him the same money that Kathy gave her. Jesse gets sick because of Carolyn's germs in a roundabout way. That is only one of the ways that money can get dirty. People sneezing on them; people using money to do drugs; people putting their money in their shoes or clothes when they don't have any pockets. These are only a few of the many ways that money picks up germs and dirt. Coins can be washed and disinfected but paper money cannot be cleaned. One-dollar bills only last three months when they are in circulation but high-denomination bills, such as fifties and twenties, are replaced far less often and both have great risks of carry sickness. When you handle money, be sure to wash your hands afterward and never put money near your face to avoid getting sick.
