Tips for the ACT....
1. Read a lot your junior high, freshman and sophomore years. -these years the stress level and the work load of school are not as high and they are are also crucial development years for your reading abilitiy. Read books that are at or higher than your reading level to progress.
2. Take practice Science tests until you have found the way to process the information. All of the information that you need to answer the questions is there. You just have to figure out where it is on the page.
3. Take Algebra II. Most of the math section is from it with only a little of it being from Algebra I and Advanced Math I (aka Geometry and Trig)
4. Study your grammar. With the ORU english classes, you learn grammar, but if you are in traditional English you probably are not going over a bunch of grammar so you really need to study and understand it.
5. Get a good night sleep before the test. duh.
6. Eat a good breakfast (did the article in the last paper about metabolism?)
7. Do not fret
8. take it at least twice
9. Go in with a friend if you are in an unfamiliar place, such as another school. You will be less nervous waiting in line
