Marie Antoinette. "LET THEM EAT CAKE!!!!"
Marie was the 15th and youngest child of the Holy Roman Emperor, Francis 1 and she was married to the heir to the French Throne at age 14. Before the wedding the french people complained about Marie's crooked teeth and she was forced to undergo extensive oral surgery that took 3 months and no pain killer, OW. I think braces are bad enough but that, you wouldn't get me anywhere near there:(. no way. anyway back to the story of the lovely, now, Marie Antoinette. The poor girl was criticized by her mother, not loved by her husband and accused by the people of France.
While Louis was crowned King Louis XVI, Marie was not and had to just simply stand by at the Coronation, how despicable, they wouldn't let her be crowned queen even though she was married to the king, she just stepped into the roll and was queen. Marie had a lovely baby girl with much work and an idiot for a doctor with spectators all around, horrible, who wants to watch a woman give birth like that? despicable. anyway she later had miscarriage from closing a window with too much force.
Later in their life, the royal family was forced to flee Versailles to due tot he french revolution and unrest in the city.Although there were many people and ideas to help them escape from the crowds of people, Louis' idiotic self cost them and they were caught and imprisoned. Louis was then tried and executed by guillotine
Her trail, an unfair sham, full of lies, came later and she had her hair cut off and was executed in the middle of the city. Her last words were "Pardon Me Sir, I did not mean to do it" referring to when she stepped on the executor's foot.
"Courage! I have shown it for years; think you I shall lose it at the moment when my sufferings are to end?"
"I have seen all, I have heard all, I have forgotten all."
"I was a queen, and you took away my crown; a wife, and you killed my husband; a mother, and you deprived me of my children. My blood alone remains: take it, but do not make me suffer long."
"No one understands my ills, nor the terror that fills my breast, who does not know the heart of a mother."
"There is nothing new except what has been forgotten."
The black and white is her execution, the second one on top is her as a barbie Doll, the middle two are two of her oil paintings(lovely :]) and the last one can from the movie starring Kirsten Dunst as Marie Antoinette
